You'll become a central point within the engineering department, ensuring engineers have the spare parts, information and maintenance plans they need to keep production running efficiently. Whether your background is engineering administration, engineering stores, purchasing, procurement or maintenance support, this role offers plenty of variety and the opportunity to develop your knowledge within an engineering environment.

The Role

  • Managing engineering spare parts and stock control.
  • Raising purchase orders and working closely with suppliers.
  • Maintaining the CMMS and supporting maintenance planning.
  • Assisting with preventative maintenance scheduling.
  • Producing engineering reports and KPI information.
  • Supporting the Engineering Manager with the day-to-day running of the department.
  • Ensuring engineering documentation is accurate and audit ready.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial or production environment.
  • Previous administration, purchasing, procurement, stores or planning experience.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Experience using a CMMS or ERP system would be advantageous but isn't essential.

Salary & Benefits

  • Circa £28,000 depending on experience.
  • Monday to Friday days role.
  • 25 days annual leave plus 3 fixed bank holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day).
