Welding Inspector Pontyclun Up to £45,000 Yolk Recruitment are seeking a Welding Inspector for our client, a leading manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled candidate with a background in welding and quality to be part of a great team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality and precision. This is what you'll be doing as Welding Inspector: Conducting detailed weld inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and customer requirements. Utilising inspection techniques such as Visual, Dye Penetrant (LP), Magnetic Particle (MPI), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT). Preparing accurate reports, including non-conformance documentation, and collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues. What you'll bring to the team as Welding Inspector: Qualifications: CSWIP 3.1 and at least one NDT certification (e.g., Dye Penetrant, MPI, or UT). Experience: Significant experience in quality inspection within a regulated manufacturing or engineering setting (e.g., Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Nuclear). Knowledge: A strong understanding of welding processes, possibly gained from hands-on welding experience. Skills: Proactive, methodical, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
