The Role

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of the finance function while leading a significant systems improvement project. This is a highly visible role that combines day-to-day financial management with strategic change and transformation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the implementation of a new finance/ERP system from planning through to successful deployment
  • Managing monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
  • Driving improvements in financial controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiencies
  • Partnering with operational and manufacturing teams to provide commercial insight and decision support
  • Managing and developing the finance team
  • Supporting year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
  • Delivering meaningful financial analysis to support business growth and profitability

About You

We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading change. You will ideally possess:

  • Qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment
  • Proven experience implementing or leading the rollout of a finance system or ERP platform
  • Strong management accounting and financial reporting skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a finance team
