Are you an experienced Project Engineer or Process Engineer looking for an opportunity to take ownership of engineering projects from initial design through to installation and commissioning?
Perhaps you're currently working within water treatment, chemical processing, food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals or another process-driven industry and looking for a position where you can combine your technical engineering knowledge with project management responsibilities.
Yolk Recruitment is supporting an established and growing engineering business specialising in process systems. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Engineer to join their team in Somerset.
This isn't simply a project coordination role. We're looking for someone with a strong technical engineering background who understands how process systems are designed, specified, manufactured and installed.
You'll work on a variety of industrial projects, from individual process systems through to fully integrated installations, supporting customers across manufacturing, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and aerospace.
The position is primarily office-based, with travel to customer and supplier sites when required.
What you'll be doing
Managing engineering projects from initial scope and design through to manufacture, installation and commissioning.
Working with customers to establish technical requirements, specifications and project deliverables.
Developing and coordinating engineering designs, drawings, specifications and bills of materials.
Working with process equipment including pumps, valves, pipework, filtration systems, dosing equipment and associated controls.
Reviewing technical drawings, process schematics and P&IDs.
Preparing project schedules, budgets, resource plans and installation programmes.
