  • Supporting the use and development of Revit, BIM and other digital specification tools.
  • Liaising with Area Sales Managers, Business Development Managers and internal technical colleagues to support ongoing projects and customer enquiries.
  • Assisting with the coordination of incoming technical enquiries, helping prioritise workloads and support other members of the Technical Specification team.
  • Ensuring technical advice, specifications and supporting documentation are accurate, consistent and delivered within agreed timescales.

The experience you will bring:

  • Previous experience within architectural technology, technical specification, or CAD/Technical drawing design within engineering/building-envelope consultancy or a closely related technical construction role.
  • A good understanding of construction methods, architectural drawings and building-envelope systems.
  • Experience preparing or interpreting technical specifications and construction documentation.
  • Familiarity with NBS Chorus, NBS Source, AutoCAD, Revit or BIM software would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
  • Knowledge of relevant Building Regulations, particularly fire safety, thermal performance and building-envelope compliance.
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to discuss technical requirements with architects, contractors, engineers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and technical enquiries.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with a willingness to develop technical knowledge and support colleagues.

And this is what you will get in return:

  • Salary of £35,000-£40,000 dependent on experience.
  • Annual performance bonus of up to 10%.
  • Hybrid working following completion of training.
  • 32 days holidays that increase with service.
  • Christmas shutdown each year.
  • Monday to Friday working hours, with flexible start and finish times.
  • Company pension scheme, with a 9% contributory arrangement.
  • Long-service recognition awards and company events.
  • Excellent career progression opportunities within a global manufacturing organisation.
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing technical development.
  • Supportive and collaborative technical working environment.
  • Free on-site parking and modern office facilities.
