The Marketing Manager will take ownership of the firm's marketing strategy, brand positioning and communications, ensuring marketing activity supports wider business objectives and contributes to continued growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the firm's overall marketing strategy, aligned with business development and commercial objectives. Manage and strengthen the firm's brand, ensuring consistent positioning and messaging across all channels. Plan, deliver and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. Develop and manage the firm's content strategy, including website content, thought leadership, articles, newsletters and other communications. Manage the firm's digital presence, including website, SEO, email marketing and social media activity. Work closely with Partners, fee earners and internal stakeholders to identify marketing opportunities and translate legal expertise into engaging, commercially focused content. Support business development initiatives, pitches, tenders, events and client communications. Develop campaigns and initiatives to enhance client engagement, brand awareness and market positioning. Manage external marketing agencies, suppliers and creative partners where required. Monitor marketing performance and provide regular reporting and insight to senior stakeholders. Use data and market insight to identify opportunities, measure ROI and continually improve marketing activity. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and commercial value. Support the planning and delivery of events, seminars and networking activity. Identify opportunities to enhance the firm's profile within relevant legal and professional services markets. Keep up to date with developments and trends across legal-sector marketing, digital communications and professional services. Ensure all marketing and communications activity reflects the firm's values, reputation and professional standards. About You The successful candidate will be an experienced marketing professional with a proven background within the legal sector. You will understand the complexities of marketing professional services and be confident working with Partners, lawyers and senior stakeholders. You will be a commercially minded marketer who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and demonstrate a strong understanding of how effective marketing can support client acquisition, retention and business growth. Essential Experience & Skills Previous marketing experience within a law firm or legal services environment is essential. Strong understanding of the legal sector and the professional services landscape. Proven experience developing and delivering marketing strategies and campaigns. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create high-quality, professional content. Experience managing digital marketing channels, including websites, SEO, email marketing and social media. Experience working with senior stakeholders, Partners and fee earners. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing contributes to business development and growth. Experience analysing marketing performance and using data to inform decision-making.
