This is what you\’ll be doing As a Maintenance Engineer, you\’ll play a vital role in keeping the site\’s specialist production equipment running at peak performance. Responsibilities include: Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across CNC machinery, furnaces, grinding machines and other high-spec manufacturing equipment. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems (control panels, PLCs, inverters, drives, sensors, safety systems) or mechanical systems (gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, pumps, compressors). Supporting new installations, upgrades, and modifications to improve reliability and efficiency. Working with colleagues across electrical and mechanical disciplines to resolve breakdowns and minimise downtime. Maintaining accurate technical records, drawings, and documentation. Contributing to continuous improvement projects and upholding high standards of H&S and compliance. What we\’re looking for Completed an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification. Proven background in either mechanical or electrical maintenance within a manufacturing/industrial environment. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with PLCs and automated systems an advantage. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Flexible, team-focused approach with a drive for improvement.
