We are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm who are looking to bring in a proactive and organised Administrator to support their management team on a fixed-term basis. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being kept busy and getting involved across different areas of the business. You won’t be tied to one department - instead, you’ll play a key part in supporting the wider team and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the management team with a range of administrative tasks
  • Working with spreadsheets and internal databases, including file opening analysis and reporting
  • Producing weekly reports and liaising closely with the compliance manager
  • Carrying out ID checks using Thirdfort and maintaining accurate records
  • Providing reception cover, answering calls and handling general enquiries
  • Monitoring and maintaining office stock levels, including supplies and toiletries
  • Carrying out basic laptop checks and updates to ensure compliance
  • Supporting the marketing manager with events, including summer socials, Christmas parties and external shows
  • Assisting with general office duties and ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Visiting local archive sites (approx. 10 minutes away) to manage and organise documents, including deeds and wills

What experience you will need:

  • Previous administrative experience within a busy office environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Willingness to carry out light manual handling (moving archive boxes)
  • A proactive, "switched on" approach with a positive attitude
