Key responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and continuously improve robust HSE policies and procedures tailored to manufacturing operations.
- Lead risk assessments and identify process hazards, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
- Drive environmental permit compliance, including emissions testing, reporting, and audits.
- Deliver engaging and effective training programs for manufacturing teams.
- Collaborate across departments to embed HSE into all operational processes.
- Promote innovation by introducing new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance safety and sustainability.
- Maintain accurate and timely environmental and safety records, reporting performance against KPIs.
- Liaise with HSE, environmental regulators, and trade associations on compliance and improvement initiatives.
- Oversee proper handling, storage and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Champion a continuous improvement mindset in safety culture and environmental stewardship.
