MERITUS are recruiting for a Transducer Engineer to join our client in a permanent position from their site in Yateley.
TRANSDUCER ENGINEER - UP TO £60,000 PER ANNUM - YATELEY, HAMPSHIRE - HYBRID REQUIREMENT
You will take ownership of acoustic performance and quality standards across both new and existing products, ensuring consistency, reliability, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle. Working closely with design, production, and systems teams, you will act as a technical authority on acoustic behaviour, supporting both development activities and in-service performance optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain acoustic performance standards and acceptance criteria across product lines
- Support manufacturing teams to ensure consistent, high-quality transducer production
- Contribute to the development and transition of new acoustic designs into production
- Lead validation and verification of acoustic performance across the full product lifecycle
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed acoustic requirements at early design stages
- Investigate and resolve acoustic performance issues, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions
