Yolk Recruitment are supporting a market-leading business in their search for a Maintenance Engineer as they continue to invest in and strengthen their engineering team. You will be joining a small engineering team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the facility and taking ownership of fault-finding and repairs across a mixture of electrical, mechanical and site services equipment. An electrical bias would be particularly attractive, although we are equally interested in speaking with good all-round Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers with strong fault-finding skills and the right attitude.

Whether your background is within food and beverage, pharmaceutical, aerospace, healthcare, general manufacturing, process industries or another engineering environment, we are keen to hear from experienced Maintenance Engineers looking for a move into a stable, days-based position.

What we are looking for:

• Time-served apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Electrical or multi-skilled maintenance background.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic ability would be particularly advantageous.
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Experience maintaining production, process, plant or site services equipment.
• Good general mechanical maintenance skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to fault-finding and problem solving.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a small engineering team.
• Experience within a regulated environment would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
