Contract - Inside IR35 - Weekends Only, 12 hour shifts - 3 month rolling

Yolk Recruitment is exclusively managing a new immediately available opportunity to join a long standing engineering group on a 3 month rolling contract as CNC Programmer/Setter.

You'll need to be able to work independently, programming, setting and operating equipment including Mazak and Index turning centres, programming at the machine using fanuc controls. You'll machine aluminium and various steels to precise tolerances, with components varying in size and complexity, with typical batch sizes from (Apply online only).

This is what you'll be doing:

  • Programme, set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture high-precision components in line with engineering drawings and required tolerances.
  • Inspect components to ensure they meet drawing tolerances, to the quality required.

The experience you'll need in this role:

  • Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes, with fanuc controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and dimensional tolerances, with strong attention to detail.
