Property Litigation NQ Solicitor in Cardiff

We're working with a leading South Wales law firm that is looking to appoint a Property Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Dispute Resolution department. Whether your experience comes from property litigation or a broader litigation background, this role offers the chance to specialise in an interesting and evolving area of law.

What you will be doing

• You'll manage your own caseload while supporting senior lawyers on more complex matters, advising a varied client base including commercial organisations, housing providers and public sector clients.
• Work will include:
• Managing a varied caseload of property litigation matters from instruction through to resolution.
• Advising clients on landlord and tenant disputes, possession proceedings, nuisance claims, boundary disputes and property-related litigation.
• Preparing court documents, witness statements and legal correspondence.
• Representing clients at hearings and negotiating settlements where appropriate.
• Working closely with clients to provide practical, commercially focused advice.
• Supporting junior team members where required and contributing to the continued growth of the department.

The experience you will have for this role

• We're keen to hear from qualified Solicitors with litigation experience who are looking to develop their expertise in property disputes.
• You'll ideally have:
• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
• Experience managing litigation matters, whether property, civil or housing related.
• Good knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Strong drafting and advocacy skills.
• Excellent client care and communication abilities.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage your own workload effectively.

Previous experience in property litigation is advantageous but not essential if you have a strong litigation background and an interest in specialising.
