As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates reliably and efficiently, helping to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement across the site.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on plant and production machinery
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and completing repairs efficiently
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance
- Servicing, inspecting and maintaining manufacturing equipment
- Assisting with machinery upgrades and engineering projects
- Conducting weekly fire alarm system testing
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the engineering department
- Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety procedures and standards
What You'll Bring:
- Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience with strong electrical knowledge and basic mechanical skills
- An engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3, ONC, HNC or HND
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
- The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques
- A flexible approach to shifts and working hours
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude

- CNC machinery
- Lathes
- Milling machines
- Grinders
- Other manufacturing plant equipment
