What you will be doing in this role:
- Advising a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from household names and FTSE-listed companies to fast-growing technology businesses across a variety of sectors.
- Drafting, negotiating and advising on a broad range of commercial agreements.
- Advising on technology contracts, digital transformation projects and outsourcing arrangements.
- Supporting clients on strategic commercial initiatives and complex business-critical projects.
- Working on commercial aspects of large-scale procurement and supply chain arrangements.
- Building trusted relationships with clients and becoming an extension of their in-house legal teams.
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple practice areas on cross-disciplinary matters.
- Contributing to business development and helping strengthen long-term client relationships.
- Opportunity to undertake client secondments and gain valuable in-house experience.
The experience you will have:
- 3-7 years' PQE in Commercial and/or Technology law.
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Excellent technical ability coupled with a pragmatic, commercial approach.
- Confidence managing matters independently while working collaboratively within a national team.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A genuine interest in innovation, technology and helping clients achieve their commercial objectives.
