MERITUS are recruiting for a CNC Turner Setter Operator to join our Precision Manufacturing client in their growing Production team in a permanent role.
An established and rapidly growing precision manufacturing company is continuing to strengthen its machining team following sustained growth across aerospace, defence and commercial engineering programmes. As new projects continue to be secured and production expands, they're looking to welcome an experienced CNC Turner / Setter to join the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys producing high-quality precision components, working with modern CNC machinery, and taking pride in delivering components that meet exact engineering specifications for highly regulated industries.
Working with Doosan and Haas CNC lathes, you'll play an important role in supporting production, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the successful delivery of complex engineering programmes.
The Role
You'll be responsible for setting and operating Doosan and Haas CNC lathes to produce precision components in line with engineering drawings and quality standards. The role involves setting fixtures and tooling, monitoring tooling and surface finish, and supporting production.
