Yolk Recruitment are supporting a confidential manufacturing client in the recruitment of a Graduate Junior Process Engineer to join their operations and engineering team on a minimum 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to gain hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, supporting real production processes, continuous improvement activity, and engineering documentation.

This Graduate Junior Process Engineer position offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, compliance, and continuous improvement are essential. You will support production operations, assist with engineering changes, and contribute to improving manufacturing processes across existing product lines. This role is best suited to a graduate in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, looking to gain practical industry experience within a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day manufacturing and production activities across existing product lines
  • Assist in resolving production issues, including cleanroom and process-related problems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability
  • Support engineering change processes, including updates to drawings, specifications, and controlled documentation
  • Assist with documentation control, ensuring engineering records are accurate and compliant
  • Support root cause analysis investigations and implementation of corrective actions
  • Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams across the business
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
