You will join a long established heavy manufacturing environment as a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter within the mixing department. This is a hands on role supporting a smooth succession process as the current fitter approaches retirement. The position is ideal for someone confident working with industrial machinery and the mechanical systems found in heavy industry.
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring mechanical reliability and keeping production running safely and efficiently. The environment involves a variety of large scale equipment, making it a great fit for someone with experience in heavy, metals or melting industries.
Your role will involve:
- Mechanical fitting, servicing and repair across plant equipment
- Working on hydraulics, pneumatics, motors and mechanical assemblies
