MERITUS are recruiting for a Supply Chain Quality Manager to join our client in the Aerospace sector on an initial 6 month contract.
This role sits within a high-performing supply chain and quality function and is critical to supporting on-time, on-quality aircraft deliveries across multiple civil aerospace programmes. The successful candidate will be accountable for managing a portfolio of structural suppliers within the landing gear supply chain, working in a complex, multi-functional environment spanning supply management, supplier control, and supplier development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key suppliers to ensure delivery performance in line with quality, time, and cost objectives.
- Work collaboratively with suppliers to drive capability development and risk mitigation.
- Ensure supplier and product compliance with applicable requirements and standards.
- Represent the supply chain and quality function within multi-functional teams, interfacing with programme, engineering, procurement, and customer-facing stakeholders.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment involving multiple external partners.
- Gain exposure to a variety of manufacturing technologies within the aerospace supply base.
