Yolk Recruitment is supporting a growing organisation with the recruitment of an IT Support Engineer to join its internal IT team.
/n
This is a hands-on 1st and 2nd line role supporting users across a multi-site environment. You'll take ownership of incidents from initial triage through to resolution, working across Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID, endpoint security and general desktop support.
/n
What you'll be doing
/n
/n
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support across desktops, laptops, mobiles, printers and peripherals
/n
- Managing and resolving support tickets in line with SLAs
/n
- Supporting Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint
/n
- Managing users and access through Active Directory / Entra ID
/n
- Supporting MFA, Conditional Access and Microsoft Defender
/n
- Deploying and managing devices through Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
/n
- Supporting joiners, movers and leavers
/n
- Assisting with patching, vulnerability remediation and endpoint security
/n
- Supporting IT asset, licence and subscription management
/n
- Troubleshooting basic networking and connectivity issues
/n
- Maintaining IT documentation and knowledge base articles
/n

What you'll bring
/n
You'll have previous experience within an IT Support, Helpdesk or Desktop Support position, alongside:
/n
/n
- Strong Windows desktop support experience
/n
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365
/n
- Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID
/n
- Exposure to Microsoft Defender / Advanced Threat Protection
/n
- Basic networking knowledge
/n
- Experience supporting remote or multi-site users
/n
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
/n
/n
Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power Platform, Paxton, Time & Attendance systems or Splicecom PBX would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
/n
