Trainee Credit Controller to join our finance team in Port Talbot.

The Role
As a Trainee Credit Controller, you'll work closely with our experienced finance team, learning all aspects of credit control while helping to ensure customer accounts are managed efficiently.
- Your Responsibilities
- Contacting customers by phone and email to discuss outstanding invoices.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
- Allocating incoming payments and updating customer accounts.
- Assisting with account reconciliations and resolving payment queries.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and customer information.
- Supporting the wider finance team with administrative tasks.
- Learning credit control processes and best practices.
About You
We're looking for someone who is
- Eager to learn and develop a career in finance.
- Confident communicating with customers by phone and email.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), including Maths and English. Previous office or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential.
