They're now looking for an experienced HR professional to take the reins on all things people related. What you'll be doing:
- Overseeing the full recruitment and onboarding process
- Managing the company's appraisal system and conducting appraisal meetings
- Making sure policies and procedures comply with employment legislation
- Monitoring attendance, absence and performance across the team
- Identifying training needs and delivering effective training programmes
- Handling formal grievances and disciplinary matters
- Supporting the wider team with general HR queries and advice
What experience you'll bring to the role:
- Previous experience in a HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Confident handling employee relations matters
- A proactive and approachable attitude - someone the team can trust and turn to
- CIPD qualification would be beneficial, but experience is key
What you'll get in return:
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm
- Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
- 28 days holidays, including Bank Holidays (Christmas shut down)
