A well-established and highly regarded South Wales law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Family Solicitor to join its growing Family Department based in Merthyr Tydfil. The Role
- Manage your own caseload of family law matters from instruction through to conclusion, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Child arrangements and contact disputes
- Cohabitation and relationship breakdown matters
- Domestic abuse and injunction applications
- Legally aided family work (where applicable)
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced colleagues while enjoying a high degree of autonomy and client contact.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE in Family Law
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of family matters
- Experience managing files independently
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-focused environment
- Previous legal aid experience would be advantageous but is not essential
