The Opportunity

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team are working closely with a Civil Service organisation that supports people in managing their money. They are looking for an ITIL qualified Lead Change & Release Manager who has managed business change and IT releases for a complex organisation and can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

What you'll do

  • You will be working with the Head of Service Management to ensure that transition releases for their new multi-supplier model are deployed in an effective and secure manner.
  • Controlling change/releases into the new live environment, ensuring that potential impacts are understood, communicated and service outages are minimised.
  • Co-ordinating with stakeholders across the supplier ecosystem, both internal and external.
  • Ensure new releases and processes are in line with ITIL standards.
  • Taking ownership of the Emergency Change Processes – working effectively with the incident management team to mitigate any issues.

What the successful Lead Change & Release Manager will bring

  • You will have strong experience of delivering change within a multi-supplier outsourced model, creating associated change management documentation.
  • Experience working in enterprise scale transition teams all working to ITIL standards.
  • Understanding of the Business Drivers of change and the business impact of change in a multi-supplier IT estate.
  • Experience establishing change processes following ITIL frameworks.
  • A strong ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders across a complex estate.
