The Opportunity

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team are working closely with a Civil Service organisation that works to support everyone with managing their money. They are looking for three experienced Cyber Security Managers who take a holistic approach to cyber security – ensuring service providers are operating effective cyber security control environments. They will be tasked with maintaining trusting relationships with key stakeholders inside the organisation and service providers.

What the Cyber Security Manager will be doing:

  • Document a comprehensive view of the cyber security threat profile of a service provider environment.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks associated with cyber security and information activities throughout the service providers environment and their wider supply chain.
  • Monitor the performance of your service provider to validate that identified threats, events and incidents are responded to effectively, efficiently and that lessons learned are identified and implemented, driving continuous improvement.
  • Support the wider cyber security team by providing subject matter expertise to all colleagues and service providers, promoting good security practice.

What the successful Cyber Security Manager will bring to the team:

  • You will have strong experience overseeing third party providers, holding them accountable for delivery of critical cyber security services.
  • Experience delivering top quality written and oral presentations on cyber security.
  • Good knowledge of the NIST CSF and ISO27001.
  • Demonstrable experience of performing Cyber Security Risk Assessments, and developing associated risk mitigation plans.
  • Proven experience in Incident Response, and overseeing patching vulnerabilities.
  • Detection, response, recovery and post incident analysis experience.
