MERITUS are recruiting for a Project Manager to join the Flight and Integration team at a large Aerospace business based in Filton.
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Lead to support a specialist Flight & Integration Test environment within a major aerospace organisation. The role sits within a multi-site engineering and test capability responsible for delivering and supporting laboratory and flight test solutions, digital platforms, and technical data services used to validate, integrate, and support aircraft modification and certification activities. The successful candidate will support the development of infrastructure required for the construction, commissioning, and operational delivery of a hydrogen-focused test facility, alongside multiple test benches supporting a wider fuel systems test programme.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of infrastructure projects supporting hydrogen and fuel systems test facilities
- Support the construction, commissioning, and operational readiness of specialist test environments
- Manage project delivery across time, cost, and quality objectives
- Define and manage the project statement of work
- Establish and maintain project governance and reporting structures
- Coordinate project execution using relevant performance metrics and controls
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and opportunities
- Engage and report to internal and external stakeholders
- Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement activities
- Work collaboratively across multi-site engineering and test teams
Requirements
- Strong project or programme management background
- Engineering or technical industry experience
- Experience delivering complex infrastructure or test-related projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to engage effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
- Advanced level of English communication skills
