The Opportunity
Yolk Recruitment has teamed up with a Business Consultancy who require a short term IT Support Technician who has great communication skills and is knowledgeable regarding Microsoft Office applications.
What the IT Support Technician will do
- Providing 1st line technical support to 1000+ users globally, answering support queries via phone, email and face-to-face while maintaining a high degree of customer service in line with ITIL best practice
- Logging incidents with our external 3rd party service providers
- Assisting in updating the IT Support knowledge bank
- Logging calls into our ticket management system, taking ownership of user problems and being proactive when dealing with their issues
- Allocating more complex calls to the relevant teams where appropriate
