Yolk Recruitment is supporting a growing organisation with the recruitment of an IT Support Engineer to join its internal IT team. This is a hands-on 1st and 2nd line role supporting users across a multi-site environment.
You’ll take ownership of incidents from initial triage through to resolution, working across Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID, endpoint security and general desktop support.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support across desktops, laptops, mobiles, printers and peripherals
- Managing and resolving support tickets in line with SLAs
- Supporting Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint
- Managing users and access through Active Directory / Entra ID
- Supporting MFA, Conditional Access and Microsoft Defender
- Deploying and managing devices through Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Supporting joiners, movers and leavers
- Assisting with patching, vulnerability remediation and endpoint security
- Supporting IT asset, licence and subscription management
- Troubleshooting basic networking and connectivity issues
- Maintaining IT documentation and knowledge base articles
What you’ll bring:
- You’ll have previous experience within an IT Support, Helpdesk or Desktop Support position
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID
- Exposure to Microsoft Defender / Advanced Threat Protection
- Basic networking knowledge
- Experience supporting remote or multi-site users
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power Platform, Paxton, Time & Attendance systems or Splicecom PBX would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
