About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a fast-paced, global brand on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is a key leadership role overseeing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions across multiple currencies and jurisdictions. You will lead the AP and AR team ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely processing of high-volume transactional activity while driving process improvement and maintaining strong financial controls. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic international environment and enjoys combining hands-on technical finance work with people leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 AP/AR Clerks
- Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Ensure accurate processing of multi-currency transactions across a global ledger
- Manage supplier and customer ledger integrity, reconciliations, and ageing reports
- Oversee payment runs, cash allocation, and credit control activities
- Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with internal policies
- Support month-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
- Act as key liaison between Finance, Procurement, and external stakeholders
- Support audits and respond to internal/external queries efficiently
About You
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager / Transactional Finance Lead / Supervisor role
- Strong background in AP and AR management within a multi-currency environment
- Experience leading and developing small finance teams
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and transactional controls
- Confident working in a fast-paced, global or multi-entity business
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar)
