This well-established manufacturer is seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee their maintenance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and facilities, implementing effective maintenance strategies, and leading a team of skilled technicians. The Maintenance Manager is a pivotal role that requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
As a Maintenance Manager, what you'll be doing:
- Manage the engineering department across a fast-paced production site.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs for all production equipment.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment and process performance.
- Develop and implement capital projects, including equipment installation and upgrades.
- Ensure that all engineering activities comply with applicable safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Work closely with other departments, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and manage the engineering department budget, including capital expenditures and expenses.
- Implement and maintain the site's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the food production site.
