As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern you will be a crucial part of our client's operations. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of site equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of the facility. If you're a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role, this is your opportunity. Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems. Conduct inspections to identify electrical safety hazards and compliance issues. Troubleshoot electrical equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime. Assist in planning and executing facility improvement projects with an electrical emphasis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve facility goals. Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and equipment performance. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, especially in electrical work. Work on a variety of equipment, including pumps, fans, compressors, steam boilers, HVAC systems, wastewater treatment systems, cooling systems, and the utilities distribution networks. Previous experience in a Facilities or Site services role Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repair skills Recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent) Previous refrigeration experience or F Gas Qualification is highly desirable Competitive salary of up to £42,000 per year (DOE).
