What You Will Be Doing as a Conveyancer
We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer to manage a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident running their own files, enjoys client interaction, and can handle transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
You do not need to be qualified as a solicitor or licensed conveyancer; what matters most is proven experience and the ability to see a transaction through from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling all aspects of the conveyancing process, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Managing files from initial instruction through to post-completion.
- Liaising daily with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
- Drafting, reviewing, and issuing contracts, transfer deeds, and related documents.
- Conducting searches and carrying out due diligence to identify and resolve any issues.
- Providing clear, friendly, and professional advice to clients throughout.
- Maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards.
The Experience You Will Have as a Conveyancer
- Previous experience running your own conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple files at once.
