Yolk Recruitment is working with a highly regarded national law firm to recruit a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its established team in Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded litigator looking to take the next step in their career, joining a collaborative team handling a broad range of complex and high-quality disputes for commercial and corporate clients.
You'll manage your own caseload while working alongside experienced Partners and colleagues on larger, more complex matters. The Role
You'll be involved in a varied range of commercial disputes, including:
- Contractual disputes and professional negligence claims.
- Banking and financial disputes.
- Intellectual property and defamation matters.
- Fraud and procurement disputes.
- Partnership and shareholder disputes.
- Managing your own caseload from initial instruction through to resolution.
- Supporting senior colleagues on complex, high-value and large-scale litigation.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear, commercially focused advice.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and the continued growth of the team.
The role offers a balance of autonomy and collaboration, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of your work while benefiting from the guidance and experience of senior lawyers.
About You

- Experience in general commercial litigation.
- Strong technical, analytical and drafting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and pragmatic approach to resolving disputes.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- A strong commitment to client service and developing lasting relationships.
- Commercial awareness, initiative and a genuine enthusiasm for litigation.
