MERITUS are recruiting for a Process Planning Engineer to join our client on an initial 6 month contract from their site in Broughton, Flintshire. You must have demonstrable SAP experience on your CV in order to be shortlisted for the position.
Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining PERT charts and Standard Line Balancing (SLB) to enable Production Pace Control (PPC).
- Monitoring manufacturing performance, analysing gaps, and implementing improvements.
- Reducing efficiency losses through white/red space and VA/NVA analysis, with focus on critical path optimisation.
- Improving processes and serial allocated time through shop floor observation and data analysis.
- Translating industrial requirements to design and supply chain, and assessing the impact of modifications.
- Maintaining and governing the Standard Time Value (STV) database, ensuring adherence to STV standards and golden rules.
- Developing and updating methods, processes, AOS elements, and digital tools related to STV/SLB.
- Ensuring stakeholder competence through training, coaching, and user support.
- Supporting industrial setup evolution and performance analysis.
