About the Opportunity
We are currently supporting a leading professional services organisation embarking on a major SAP modernisation programme. As part of this journey, they are looking to hire an experienced SAP BTP Developer to help shape their future cloud architecture and integration landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation moving towards SAP RISE, leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Integration Suite to drive a clean-core strategy and reduce legacy customisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support cloud-based applications, integrations, and extensions on SAP BTP
- Build and maintain integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
- Develop side-by-side extensions using CAP, RAP, Node.js, and Java
- Build and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications
- Support migration of integrations from legacy platforms to SAP BTP
- Work closely with SAP functional teams across Finance, HR, and Master Data
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to clean-core principles
- Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities
Required Experience
- Strong SAP BTP development experience
- Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
- Experience with CAP and/or RAP development frameworks
- SAP Fiori/UI5 development experience
- Understanding of SAP clean-core architecture and side-by-side extensibility
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with internal and third-party applications
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, and secure connectivity
Desirable Skills
- SAP ABAP development background
- SAP Event Mesh experience
- SAP Build Process Automation
- SAP Analytics Cloud and/or Datasphere exposure
- Experience within highly regulated environments
