Yolk Recruitment are supporting a leading manufacturing business in Norfolk to recruit a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for their high-volume production site near Attleborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served, multi-skilled engineer to join a stable, growing business and play a key role in keeping a modern facility running efficiently.
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be part of the site Engineering team, reporting into the Engineering Management structure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production equipment and site services.
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Accurately completing maintenance documentation, service reports and updating maintenance systems.
- Supporting continuous improvement activities and contributing technical ideas to improve reliability and performance.
- Working closely with production, engineering and external contractors to ensure safe, efficient operation of the plant.
- Helping to maintain key services such as electricity and compressed air and ensuring they meet operational requirements.
You'll be a practical, hands-on engineer with a strong multiskilled background and experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- A BTEC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
- Proven experience in planned and reactive maintenance within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills on low voltage panels, drives and inverters.
