I'm working with a well-established social housing provider in South Wales who is looking to appoint an organised and personable Administration Assistant to support their Health, Safety & Compliance team.
This is a varied role combining administration, accurate data management and regular communication with residents, contractors and internal teams. You'll play an important part in making sure compliance information is accurate, actions are followed up and residents receive a helpful and responsive service.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining accurate records across repairs and compliance systems
- Entering, checking and updating compliance data and documentation
- Liaising with residents to arrange appointments and respond to general enquiries
- Communicating with contractors and colleagues to ensure actions are completed on time
- Supporting compliance activity across areas including gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, lifts and workplace safety
- Raising purchase orders and assisting with invoice processing
- Maintaining clear audit trails, including supporting evidence and documentation
- Providing general administration, filing and meeting support for the wider team
What we’re looking for:
You’ll ideally have previous experience within a busy administrative role and be confident working with IT systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Accuracy is particularly important, so you’ll need strong data-entry skills, good attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
You’ll also be comfortable dealing directly with residents and contractors, with clear written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience within housing, property services, repairs, compliance or health and safety would be useful, although not essential.
You’ll need to be able to travel as part of the role.
Benefits include:
- 25 days' annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
- Defined contribution pension scheme
- Free on-site parking
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Occupational Sick Pay
- Employee discount scheme
