Assistant Management Accountant
Swansea | Up to £39,000 | Hybrid
Yolk Recruitment is working with a growing organisation in Swansea to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hybrid role offering the opportunity to take responsibility for management accounting, month-end processes and financial reporting, while supporting and overseeing two junior ledger clerks.
The Role
Reporting into the senior finance team, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end reporting.
- Completing month-end journals, reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Producing cash flow reports and supporting cash flow forecasting.
- Reviewing financial information and investigating variances.
- Managing and overseeing the day-to-day work of two junior ledger clerks.
- Supporting the wider finance team with reporting, analysis and accounting requirements.
- Assisting with the ongoing improvement of finance processes and controls.
- Ensuring financial information is accurate and produced within agreed deadlines.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience within a management accounting environment, with a good understanding of month-end accounting, management accounts and financial reporting. You will also have experience working with cash flow information and be comfortable supporting or overseeing more junior members of a finance team.
This role would suit an Assistant Management Accountant, Management Accountant or experienced Finance Assistant looking to take the next step in their career.
