Senior SMT Engineer Yolk Recruitment are supporting an established electronics manufacturing business with the recruitment of a Senior SMT Engineer. This is a key technical role responsible for the performance, reliability and continuous improvement of SMT machinery and manufacturing processes, working closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime, improve machine utilisation and maintain high standards of quality. As Senior SMT Engineer, you will take a lead role within the SMT engineering function, coordinating technical activity and providing hands-on engineering support to ensure SMT equipment is operating effectively and meeting production requirements. You will be involved in technical problem-solving, fault-finding, continuous improvement, machinery development and the introduction of new systems and processes, helping the business improve machine reliability, quality and overall manufacturing performance.
