The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and facilities, implementing effective maintenance strategies, and leading a team of skilled technicians. As a Maintenance Manager, what you'll be doing:
- Manage the engineering department across a fast-paced production site.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs for all production equipment.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment and process performance.
- Develop and implement capital projects, including equipment installation and upgrades.
- Ensure that all engineering activities comply with applicable safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Work closely with other departments, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and manage the engineering department budget, including capital expenditures and expenses.
- Implement and maintain the site's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the food production site.
