The Role Working within the engineering team, you will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance activities across a range of process and packaging equipment, helping to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime.
Responding to breakdowns and carrying out effective fault finding to return equipment to production.
Performing planned preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and continuous improvement activities.
Supporting process and packaging machinery across the site.
Assisting with the development and improvement of preventative maintenance schedules.
Supporting engineering projects and equipment improvements.
Working closely with production teams to maximise machine performance and efficiency.
What We're Looking For We are keen to speak with electrically or mechanically biased engineers with experience gained within food, FMCG or general manufacturing environments.
A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND or equivalent).
Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience working on process or packaging machinery.
A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Engineers with a stronger mechanical background who are looking to develop further on the electrical side are also encouraged to apply.
Annual performance bonus Overtime paid at 1.5x during the week and 2x on Sundays. 6% employer pension contribution. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
