What You'll Do:
- Play a key role in keeping a highly automated production site running efficiently.
- Support both proactive and reactive maintenance across a modern food manufacturing facility.
- Carry out planned maintenance to minimise downtime, respond quickly to breakdowns, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
- Work on a wide range of automated machinery including conveyors, sorters, and robotics, ensuring production targets are consistently met.
- Be involved in equipment upgrades, maintaining engineering stores, and accurately documenting all work completed to support effective shift handovers.
What You'll Bring:
- Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong fault-finding ability across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Good understanding of PLC fault finding via HMI, and working with inverters.
- Mechanical capability including bearings, pneumatics and general maintenance.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Full UK driving licence due to shift patterns.
