BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - AEROSPACE & ADVANCED MANUFACTURING - BELFAST - UP TO £40 PER HOUR (INSIDE IR35) - 12 MONTH CONTRACT We're seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of capital construction and infrastructure projects across aerospace manufacturing and engineering facilities.
This client-side role offers responsibility for projects from feasibility and design through to commissioning and handover, supporting critical operational and production environments.
Responsibilities: Lead construction, facilities, and infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle.
Develop project plans, CAPEX business cases, budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
Coordinate internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with operational requirements.
Manage project governance, contractor performance, stakeholder communications, and project reporting.
Support commissioning, handover, and operational integration of completed projects.
Skills & Experience: Essential: Proven construction project management experience within aerospace, defence, manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or similarly regulated environments.
Strong understanding of the construction lifecycle and delivery of CAPEX projects.
Experience managing contractors, consultants, budgets, programmes, and project risks.
Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services and infrastructure.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Degree/HND in Construction, Building Services, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency with MS Project and project management software.
Desirable: Experience delivering projects within aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or high-tech engineering facilities.
Professional membership with CIBSE, IMech E, IET, APM, or similar.
PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP, or equivalent project management qualification.
