Were looking for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join the Engineering team, carrying out installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair work across a variety of electrical and instrumentation systems. This role would suit a qualified electrician or electrical engineer who enjoys a hands-on position, working across varied sites and equipment whilst developing their technical expertise. As an Electrical Field Service Engineer, what youll be doing: Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair work on electrical and instrumentation systems. Maintain and support LV systems, motors, transformers, actuators, standby generators and associated plant equipment. Complete planned maintenance activities whilst ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements. Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to ensure equipment reliability and operational performance. Prepare reports and provide technical support and guidance to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work. Support and oversee contractors and third-party suppliers where required. What well need from you: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.2391 Inspection Testing qualification or equivalent. Full UK Driving Licence. Experience working as an Electrical Field Service Engineer, Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role. Good understanding of relevant engineering standards, regulations and safe systems of work. Comfortable using IT systems including Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider engineering team. Willingness to participate in a 24/7 standby rota.
