Based in Exeter, the team acts for a broad mix of clients - including landowners, developers, charities, councils, agricultural businesses, landed estates and high-net-worth individuals - so the work is varied, complex and far from routine.

They're growing their property litigation offering and are looking for a Property/Commercial Litigation Lawyer from NQ up to around 5 years' PQE to come in and build their experience within a supportive, well-structured team.

You'll pick up a broad range of property-related disputes, including:

  • Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
  • Wider property-related contentious work
  • Some exposure to related commercial litigation (including insolvency/debt recovery linked to property matters)

The team is collaborative, responsive and used to working across their wider real estate and sector teams, which means a steady flow of good-quality internal referrals alongside growing external instructions.

Requirements:

  • NQ-5 PQE solicitor with property litigation experience
  • Commercial, practical and good with clients
  • Interested in developing a long-term career and potentially a niche area of expertise
  • Real investment in training and development
  • A genuinely collaborative litigation team
  • Encouragement to build your own profile and BD skills
