Electrical Field Service Engineer Bristol and Surrounding Areas £49,500 Salary + Company Car + Overtime at Enhanced Rates Monday - Friday, Days (Flexible Hours) Overview This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading gas infrastructure businesses, supporting the safe and reliable delivery of energy services across the South West. We're looking for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join the Engineering team, carrying out installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair work across a variety of electrical and instrumentation systems. This role would suit a qualified electrician or electrical engineer who enjoys a hands-on position, working across varied sites and equipment whilst developing their technical expertise. As an Electrical Field Service Engineer, what you'll be doing: Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair work on electrical and instrumentation systems. Maintain and support LV systems, motors, transformers, actuators, standby generators and associated plant equipment. Complete planned maintenance activities whilst ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements. Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to ensure equipment reliability and operational performance. Prepare reports and provide technical support and guidance to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work. Support and oversee contractors and third-party suppliers where required. Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple departments to achieve operational objectives. Keep up to date with industry developments, technical standards and best practice. What we'll need from you: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. 2391 Inspection
