About the Job: As a Warehouse Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of our warehouse. This is a practical hands-on role and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail and enjoys working as part of a small supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and safely store inward products
  • Pick, prepare and dispatch outward products to our customers
  • Using the warehouse computer system, booking items in and out, updating stock levels and completing simple data entry
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and yard organization
  • Carry out stock counts and assist with regular inventory audits
  • Follow all health and safety and quality system procedures

Key Requirements:

  • You must be able to undertake manual handling
  • Have a good understanding of all warehouse functions
  • Forklift Truck License
  • Basic PC literacy and the ability to use the systems applicable to the warehouse or capability to use them after suitable training
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Have excellent organizational skills, be flexible and adapt to change
  • Knowledge of the safe systems of work specified for the warehouse and of the H&S policies/procedures that apply to the company premises and its operations
  • Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision to consistently hit the targets agreed with our customers or set by the company
