About The Job
As a Warehouse Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the day‑to‑day running of our warehouse. This is a practical, hands‑on role ideal for someone thriving in a fast‑paced environment, with strong attention to detail and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and safely store inward products
- Pick, prepare and dispatch outward products to our customers
- Use the warehouse computer system to book items in and out, update stock levels and complete simple data entry
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and yard organization
- Carry out stock counts and assist with regular inventory audits
- Follow all health and safety and quality system procedures
Key Requirements
- Must be able to undertake manual handling
- Good understanding of all warehouse functions
- Forklift truck licence
- Basic PC literacy and ability to use the systems applicable to the warehouse or to acquire them after suitable training
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Excellent organisational skills, flexibility and adaptability to change
- Knowledge of safe systems of work specified for the warehouse and of the H&S policies/procedures that apply to the company premises and its operations
- Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision to consistently hit the targets agreed with customers or set by the company
