Job Purpose

Manage and support the commercial aspects of contracts, ensuring effective negotiation, execution, and compliance. This involves reviewing terms, mitigating risks, and aligning contracts with organizational goals. The role provides strategic insights to management and collaborates with legal, procurement, and operational teams to optimize value, minimize risks, and foster long-term growth. Staying informed on industry regulations, market trends, and best practices is essential for continuous improvement in contract management and commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze business cases for large-scale or complex projects, providing data-driven recommendations for decision-making.
  • Coordinate the identification, analysis, and documentation of contract requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Communicate contract management strategies and implement them in line with business goals.
  • Monitor contract performance, enforce compliance, and identify risks, proposing corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and write specifications for bid solicitation, RFP, and tender processes, ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Research and analyze data to identify trends and support decision-making using business intelligence tools.
  • Provide expert advice on contract terms, regulations, and best practices for complex projects.

  • Review and Reporting: Create and review reports for various audiences effectively.
  • Business Case Contribution: Lead or contribute to business case development, quantifying costs and benefits.
  • Project Quality Management: Establish and manage quality policies for projects.
  • Requirements Elicitation and Facilitation: Lead sessions for gathering requirements and user acceptance testing.

Education

  • Bachelor\’s Degree or equivalent in a related field.

Experience

  • Over 3 to 6 years of relevant experience, capable of advising on most situations.

Managerial Experience

  • Over 3 to 6 years of experience in resource planning and management at a senior level.
