As a Control & Safety Systems Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize industrial automation and safety systems that ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient operations for our customers. You will play a key role across the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through to commissioning and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Design & Solution Delivery
- Design and develop control and safety system solutions (e.g. DCS, SIS, PLC) based on customer requirements and industry standards.
- Perform feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to validate design concepts.
- Translate technical and business requirements into robust engineering specifications.
- Implementation & Commissioning
- Configure, test, and deploy control and safety systems at customer sites.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Ensure systems are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- Standards, Compliance & Safety
- Apply and contribute to engineering standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. functional safety, IEC standards).
- Conduct inspections and assessments to verify system integrity and safety.
- Project & Stakeholder Management
- Execute tasks within project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a technical point of contact for customers during project delivery.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives and digital/automation advancements.
- Support knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across teams.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare clear and accurate technical documentation, reports, and specifications.
- Maintain project documentation in line with quality and compliance requirements.
